Acknowledgements:

The Timeline material was made in collaboration with Virginia McBride and Tara Kellenberger.

  • Virginia is a gifted artist, whose drawings make the card material and the timeline come to life. Virginia researched each literary form, and considered multiple possibilities before choosing the image she would draw.
  • Tara has a talent for design and for technology. From the beaded pattern around the card material to the “teacher pages” that match drawings with definitions, Tara’s aesthetic complements the whole.
  • Finally, thanks to John Tuttle, a web designer and J.J. Hill parent, who not only put together this website, but patiently showed me how to use it.
